Seeking God’s Will

• Romans 12:2 – “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
• Ephesians 5:17 – “Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.”
• Colossians 1:9 – “For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives.”
• 1 Thessalonians 5:18 – “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
• Hebrews 10:36 – “You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.”
• 1 Peter 2:15 – “For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people.”

Seeking God through Prayer

• Philippians 4:6 – “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

Seeking God in Worship

• Psalm 95:6 – “Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.”
• John 4:23-24 – “Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

• Psalm 29:2 – “Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.”

• Proverbs 21:21 – “Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor.”
• 1 Timothy 6:11 – “But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.”
• Isaiah 58:2 – “For day after day they seek me out; they seem eager to know my ways, as if they were a nation that does what is right and has not forsaken the commands of its God. They ask me for just decisions and seem eager for God to come near them.”

• Ephesians 6:10 – “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.”
• Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”
